Winter Schedule
creative expression sessionS
Creative Expression Sessions are a fun, supportive space for people looking for camaraderie, conversation and creative play. People who’ve experienced housing instability are especially encouraged to attend. We provide coffee, snacks and bus tokens (while supplies last).
When: Tuesdays from Jan. 13 - May 12 from 8:30-10:00am
Where: Minneapolis Central Library (300 Nicollet Mall) on the 1st floor Commons
Performance skill Shares <<< New >>>
zAmya Troupe Members and guest artists Lelis Brito and Harry Waters Jr. will lead participants in activities designed to build and strengthen skills for creating and performing live theater. Open to all. Come once or come every week. We provide bus tokens and $10 gift cards to people who participate with the lived experience of homelessness (while supplies last).
When: Wednesdays from Jan. 14 - May 13 from 1:00-3:00pm
Where: Minneapolis Central Library (300 Nicollet Mall) on the 2nd floor in room DOTY*
*Finding DOTY: Options: (1) Find the escalator and go up it. Proceed forward and take a left onto the bridge over the atrium. DOTY will be on your right side as you cross the bridge. (2) If using the elevator, take the elevator on the east side of the atrium. Go up to the 2nd floor. Upon exiting, hook around to your left. You'll cross a hallway, at which point DOTY will be on your left side.
