Don’t delay enlightenment

There are a lot of ways to get involved, either on a one-time basis or as an ongoing volunteer. Here are a few. All are volunteer opportunities unless otherwise noted.

Volunteers needed for:

• Workshop Assistants: Arrive 30 minutes early to the workshops and greet participants, get them signed-in and collect surveys. And, if you’d like participate in the workshop! (Sept. 21 & Sept. 26 @ 9:00-11:30am at Catholic Charities Branch III Drop-in Center)

• Rehearsal Assistance: Arrive at rehearsals 15 minutes early, great actors, make coffee, bring a snack and help Stage Manager, Artistic Director and Playwright as requested. And enjoy watching a play being created before your eyes! (Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:15-9:00pm, Oct. 5-Nov. 11th)

• Props/Costumes: Work with the Stage Manager to create props and costumes for our show. (5-10 hours in Oct./Nov.)

• Actor: Act in our play! If interested it is best to attend one of the workshops. (Workshops: Sept. 21 & Sept. 26 @ 9:30-11:00am at Catholic Charities Branch III Drop-in Center, 740 E. 17th St., Mpls, MN 55404). You need to be able to commit to rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals are Mondays/Wednesday Oct. 5-Nov. 11, 6:30-9:00pm and also some additional rehearsals. Seven performances are held both days and evenings during Nov. 15-22. Check the “Current Production” page for most current dates/times.)

• Performance Greeters: Welcome audience members to our shows, pass out programs, collect surveys, distribute cool zAmya bracelets and enjoy the show! You are requested at performances one hour prior to the show and 30-min. post show.
